It's so fun to see Obama's message of hope, unity, and change reflected in art and music. I have been waiting for music, especially, to make a political statement for years, like it used to during Vietnam. Regardless of your politics, you have to admit that he is inspiring. You might not believe that he is being sincere or realistic when he talks about his hopes for the future, but if you set aside your preconceptions and really listen, I think you have to admit that he makes some good points. I believe that he is much different than just about every President before him, a revolutionary type of figure (look at the rest of the world's reaction, too!). I decided to post some of my favorite Obama-inspired songs.
